FAQ | Question1: | When is the best time to sell my book?
| | Answer: | The best time to get your book sold is when the new classes start. If your trying to sell a book for the class you just finished, chances are no one is going to want the book. The best time to post is when that class is starting up again. | | | | | Question2: | Do I need to register to use the website? | | Answer: | No. All that is required is your email to manage your ads. By writing down your email you will have access to all your ads and the password you need to change/update your ad. | | | | | Question3: | I Found one of the books I wanted but it is listed at another University, is it possible to buy it? | | Answer: | This is entirely up to the person selling the book. Contacting the seller and setting up a meeting, or having the seller post the book to you is negotiated between the two parties in the transaction. | | | | | Question4: | My University does not seem to be one of the Universities currently available. How do I join the site? | | Answer: | If your University is not on the list, go to the 'Contact Us' tab and then fill in your name, email address and write in the message box which University you are part of. We will add the new University as soon as possible. | | | | | Question5: | Where do you recommend we meet to exchange the money and book? | | Answer: | The best meeting place is in a public space that is convenient for both seller and buyer. Usually this will be a place on campus, such as outside a lecture room or in the University library. | | | | | Question6: | What University do I sell at if I no longer attend classes at any University and want to sell my old Books? | | Answer: | We recommend selling your book at the University that you took the class where the book was used but also to universitys that use the same book for their courses. This increases your chances of selling your books to the incoming class. | | | | Question7: | I received a strange e-mail with Ombok in the subject title. When I opened the email it was noting but a broken link, or text that made no sense. Why did I get this? | | Answer: | This is the result of a spam-bot. It is a program that looks for opportunities to send emails on websites, and sends nonsense to people. We apologize for the waste, and we are working on creating a new email system witch these bots cant use.
The email is harmless and dose not contain anything that can damage your computer. Just delete it from your inbox and it should be fine. |
